Dark nights are here but spirits are high,

This week we launched our latest campaign for CRUK, not only streamlining donations and engagement with the campaign but allowing consumers to set a reminder to watch a live broadcast on Channel 4.

Relying on Alexa to perform tasks beyond the media placement is a step towards agentic advertising as we’ve written about previously here.

Q3 RAJAR report shows that now over 22% of all commercial radio is listened to on smart speakers [full report].  This represents a steady climb from about 13% in mid-2022 to a bit over 22% by Q3 2025, roughly 75% in relative terms in just three years.

We’re seeing a sharp rise in voice enabled CTV activity across USA, Mexico and Brazil.  We’ll get some case studies together ahead of our next update.

50% of radio listened to on smart speakers within 4 years – will it happen faster?

As mentioned above the Q3 RAJAR report came out last month showing continued strong growth (18.7% CAGR) of listening on smart speakers.

With the renaissance of Gemini for Home and Alexa+ going head to head next year this growth rate is only likely to increase (the above graph is based solely on current growth rates).  There are rumours of Open AI bringing out some hardware further increasing the surface by which ads can be engaged with using voice.

Technology has caught up with the vision of voice enabled advertising and it’s so exciting to see it play out!

Mexico ‘Media First’: Voice Enabled TV Ad campaign from Benetton

We’ve just wrapped the first ever voice enabled TV ad campaign in Mexico for Benetton with our partner ShowHeroes.  The results broke benchmarks and we’re hoping to share in a full case study before too long.

The campaign allowed consumers to engage directly with the TV creative to recieve a link o purchase the new fragrance.

CRUK Returns With Stand Up To Cancer Ad Voiced By David Tennant

This audio campaign voiced by David Tennant encourages engagement and laughter, offers the below visual branding alongside the audio engagement via Alexa and directs to either a donation homepage or to set a reminder to tune into a live show on Channel 4.

ACCENT Partnership

Podcast and radio production service, ACCENT has announced a partnership between its ACCENT Academy programme and Say It Now, the interactive voice technology company.

The collaboration will seek to empower creators to harness smart speaker innovation as part of a year-long support programme for emerging and established audio talent.

Launched in September, the ACCENT Academy offers creators free twelve-month training in building smarter formats, stronger shows, and distinctive storytelling, all while maintaining full ownership of their intellectual property.

The new partnership adds an interactive dimension, giving participants access to voice technology tools that allow audiences to engage directly with their content.

AdTech Connect run a series of events to bring together the fast rising stars of the industry and last month we were asked to contribute to the event, share ‘Behind the Scenes’ experience of the realities of starting and scaling an AdTech Business.
