March Newsletter
Posted 31st March 2026
Today is the last day of Q1.
The daffs came out, blossoms popped, news was pretty heavy but as a wise woman once told me:
“You can either tune into the news or make your own.”
Here’s ours:
We launched a fantastic GOV campaign to help inspire conversations between parents and kids around online safety with weekly reminders to keep the conversation going.
We entered a Gemini Live competition to solve the brain fog x dinner inspiration problem. We partnered with VOW to support their voice enabled CTV offering.
Alexa+ eventually launched in the UK, I talked nonsense on the Media Freak podcast which in a roundabout way lead to me inviting you to a Thursday Sunset event on 23rd April. Come along and I’ll tell you all about it (RSVP HERE).
Hope you enjoy the long weekend,
“Alexa, launch kids online safety”
In our latest actionable audio GOV.UK Campaign for the Department for Science, Innovation and Technology (DSIT) this inspires parents to engage, and offers information about how to navigate their children’s use of social media. By saying “Alexa, launch kids online safety” the listener is offered questions they can ask immediately, can set a weekly reminder to have a conversation with their children or be sent a link to further information.

Gemini Live, Making MISE
At 6pm every day, millions of people open their fridge and stare into the void.
No plan. No inspiration. Just ingredients and rising hunger.
You had planned to eat healthy and save money, often this moment has you ordering a take-away, blowing your budget and your plan.
We built MISE to solve that moment.
We entered this into a competition to show what’s possible with Gemini Live as part of a Google Gemini competition. Really impressive 0platform to build on and directional as to what to expect next from Say It Now.
VowStream Partnership
We are delighted to announce this latest Say It Now partnership with VOW. With VowStream they are removing the opaque nature and reducing the friction in buying Connected TV (CTV) and making it easier for new entrants to buy this inventory with confidence.
The extra engagement delivered with voice lowers barriers for consumers to engage in the moment and delivers loads of real time data to further demonstrate the value of this medium.
Media Freak Podcast
A fun filled dive into today’s current affairs in and around the media landscape with a few notes from Charlie on his worldview. Also covered Meta’s foray into the living room (lean-back doomscrolling?!?!?), and a look at the hottest vibe-coded app in town.
Alexa+ launched in the UK!
Powered by generative AI, the smarter, more conversational Alexa can complete tasks from start to finish—and is genuinely British.
This is the update we’ve been waiting for, it is driving up dwell time and with devices already in 50% of UK homes and makes owners far more likely to engage with advertising that has an endpoint within Alexa.
It’s great to see all the pieces of the puzzle come together.
