Do you know where September went?

The gear shift from August towards the race to year end is palpable. We had to work hard for it but Q3 was pretty good, I ended up being invited to the GAIN global AI conference in Riyadh where 250 leaders of AI businesses from across the world shared stories of how they were commercialising this outstanding wave of technology.  I wrote up some thoughts here.

Q4 is piling on.  This is the advertising feeding frenzy, we’ve seen a 300% increase in rebooking compared to last year which we interpret as a sign of confidence that voice enabled campaigns both perform well and deliver valuable real time data.

Some great work featured below from Chase Bank, E.ON, Three Mobile and Wickes.  Also a little about a talk I gave at the Snap HQ for OmniGOV.

Lots happening in our product capability, if your team hasn’t had a refresh in the last 3 months please let me know and we’ll schedule it in.

Head down, careful of all those spiders and enjoy halloween 🎃!

See you soon,

Charlie

EVENTS

OmniGOV talk

We were asked to present to about 120 Govt. clients at an OmniGOV event held at the Snap offices a couple of weeks ago.

It was hugely inspiring to hear Conrad Bird CBE, Director, Campaigns & Marketing at Cabinet Office, open up proceedings with a long term view of data driven campaigns running always on and how the Cabinet Office is creating AI enabled tooling.

It is great to have made it through some rigours due diligence to be invited onto this stage and look forward to serving this client in its mandate to communicate to the population.  Watch this space!

GAIN AI Conference in Ryiadh

A week working in Riyadh has opened my eyes to a maturing view on what’s going on in #AI from a multidisciplinary perspective and the future has never been clearer.

I’ll try and distil some of the thinking here and I’m reaching out to our partners to explain how this plays into our roadmap at Say It Now and broader planning for 2025 and beyond.

I was invited as one of 200 speakers to the global AI conference in Saudi Arabia, focused on an ambitious 2030 vision accelerating the region away from reliance on oil towards leadership in technology, tourism and sustainable living.

This is one of the largest AI conferences in the world, held in the King Abdulaziz International Convention Centre under the themes ‘Now, Next, Never’ covering off the current state of the art, what’s upcoming and exploring the ethical considerations of developing humanity shifting technologies.

MARKET INSIGHT

The Rise of Voice Marketing: A summary of the exploding voice marketing industry

We wrote an article recently looking at the reasons why brands are now investing in their voice strategy, what they are doing to keep up and why it’s so important.

  • Voice market opportunity is being realised: Market size is expected to reach $20.4 billion by 2030, up from $4bn in 2024, a significant growth opportunity.
  • Tech giants are all-in: Major players like OpenAI, Google, and Amazon are heavily investing in voice technology.
  • Benefits for B2B brands: Improved customer experience, loyalty, and sales.
  • Actionable data and better performance: Voice ads offer real-time insights, making media spend work harder and improve ad perception from consumers.

The AI generated voice market is experiencing a fast expansion, estimated to rise in value from around $3BN in 2024 to $20.4BN by 2030 delivering an expected annual growth rate of 37.1% in that period.

Meta AI

Last week Meta AI launched outside the US including the UK.  The Meta AI chatbot apparently has 500 million daily active users. Mark Zukerberg and the Meta leadership are keen to point to a future where consumers engage with Meta AI using their voice.
